The gearbox is a bit weird on the RS4. It's good, don't get me wrong, but the redline from first gear comes almost immediately. Plus if it hits the redline, it sticks for a second before slotting in. When you launch from a standing start, you have to be ready to switch up a gear almost the second the wheels start turning. And thats just on a standard. It must be much worse on a car of that spec

My remark was made because of the way the driver elected to modulate the throttle. Last I checked, only uneducated drivers find an advantage to holding the rpm's high while shifting only to let them fall back down once the clutch is engaged.

Most straight sixes, unlike other engines, don't really have a identifying sound, instead, there is just one characteristic that you can class them together in; despite sounding relatively smooth, you would swear Satan himself is in there trying to escape.

The beauty behind an inline 6 is that with a little work, any one can sound great. For example, this crazy twin-turbo E34 engine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcosgFH5Fd4&feature=related

But here's one you wouldn't expect; here's a Jeep 4.6L Stroker (a 4.0L I6 with 4.2L I6 rods and crank). Skip to 1:40 in the video, unless you want to see a walk-around of the engine.

I'm going to have to go with "no". Looks like the rolling of the boat lifted him off the deck a bit with a forward angle on his collective, he started to come forward, got scared (who wouldn't?), pulled back on the stick and hit his tail rotor on the deck, halting it. Then the helo rotates around (since tail rotor is stopped) and as soon as he's facing open sea the drops all angle on the blades and the helo drops to the deck.

If the rear rotor halted completely you would have a much worse outcome. There is a rail around the rear rotor to prevent it from coming in contact with the ground -- watch the slow-mo.

edit: VVVV holy poo poo, you guys are right. That is just amazing.
