I finally got around to Discworld this year, starting with the Lipwig books followed by the Guardsmen stuff. I put off Pratchett for a long time. I assumed his books were full of obnoxious monkeycheese random humor, because everyone who recommended him to me was into that stuff and that’s the vibe I got when they explained the stories to me. Turns out the books are actually funny as hell!
