I remember watching a movie during my childhood that scared the poo poo out of me, but it wasn't particularly horrific or anything, I was just young. Some little kid's parents, or maybe just his father, get murdered and he is kidnapped by the two perpetrators. One is mostly calm and one is a total psycho, both male. The psycho ends up having his head crushed in an oil well or something, and the other one gets shot by the police, maybe at an intersection. The flick was either from the '70s or '80s. Can't remember anything else. Help?
