There's not much said about it on the internet, unfortunately, so I'm limited to my lovely memory. I think the guy who looked like Ben (comedian Kenny Everett) had a metal prosthetic leg, and there was a running gag of him having to leave the group to take a leak. There was another guy who had a giant mole on his arm. After he had gotten killed, his girlfriend came in and found the double. The double asks her, "Do you love me?" to which she replies, "Yes." The double then says, "Even my mole?", raises his arm, and the mole splits open and a snake thing or something shoots out and grabs the girlfriend. At the end all of the main characters had been killed and their doubles congregated to, um, somewhere wearing white robes. That's pretty much all I can remember.

This is a shot in the dark. I don't know if it is one movie made of several unrelated stories, or maybe an HBO series. It was in the 80's, probably mid eighties. There were two separate stories I remember: One of the stories involved a kid going to live with his aunt or grandmother. I think she was rich. There was a monster in her house. I'm not 100% sure on this but I think he told her about it but she didn't believe him. Anyway at some point, the kid locks the creature in a cupboard or wardrobe by putting a slim stick (like a pencil or something) between the loop handles. The thing pounds and pounds on the doors, and I think the aunt/grandmother lets it out. The next shot is from the creature's point of view, on the left and right sides of the screen you see its hands, with the aunt/grandmother's terrified face in the center of the screen. They run away and I don't know how it ends, but you see the creature's face (maybe for the first time?) during the ending credits of this story. It was white. The second story involves a group of kids locking one girl into a shed in a field. She absolutely freaks out and screams but they don't release her. Hours later one of the kids comes back, unlocks the door, and I think apologizes. I was thinking these stories might be from Ray Bradbury Theater, but I went through plot descriptions of all the episodes and none of them sounded right. He kept going and seeing bubbles rise and hearing weird noises (this may not be entirely accurate - I saw this thing in 1988 or so) and eventually found out that it was a sunken piece of construction equipment that was letting lake gas up every now and again. That one comes up a lot in these threads: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091810/

This one should be easy, it's fairly recent I think... Two guys are running through the forest, being chased by an army. One of the guys steps on a land mine and knows if he lifts his foot, it will blow up. He tells the other guy to keep going, then makes a racket so the bad guys find him. They shoot him because he won't drop to the ground (he can't due to the landmine), finally one of the bad guys approaches him to knock him down or something, at which point the guy lifts his foot and blows everyone up.

Well I can tell you that happened on an episode of Salute Your Shorts when Budnick and Michael pretended to be sick. Budnick starts the puzzle upside down and Micheal is incredulous but soon the puzzle is finished. Micheal flips it over to reveal what the picture is...ice cream! As he sees the picture, he looks up to find that Budnick got the key to the padlocked refrigerator somehow and they ate a bunch of ice cream.

This is going to be an odd request: I think it's a Harrison Ford movie from the 80's. I'm like 90% sure it's either a Star Wars or Indiana Jones movie. This is what I'm trying to figure out: In one of those movies, there is a scene where the good guys are planning their attack, or else they have already planned it and are lying in wait for it to begin. The soundtrack has some slow, low strings playing and there's what I think is a trumpet going "dun-dundun-dunnnnnn". It's low key and really helps build the tension. I have the music going in my head and I want to watch the scene, it's driving me crazy. The trumpet's playing a single pitch for all its notes. My music is very rusty but I think the notes would be written as: one quarter note. Two eighth notes. Then the final note is a total of 6 beats. All the same pitch. dun-dundun-dunnnnnn Three or four measures of the cello doing it's thing, then the trumpet comes in again. dun-dundun-dunnnnnn

Mr Darcy posted:I'm not good at music. But if it's Star Wars then the most likely suspect would be this track:- Thanks for trying, but that's not it. The one I'm thinking of is much quieter. There's no action happening, it's the lull before something big goes down, and the music is playing softly and building the tension. That said, I'm almost positive it's a John Williams piece. I listened to that whole track you linked and while it wasn't the right one, I loved every second of it. Makes you want to get up and go have an adventure

I have one: this is an old black and white movie. I think people were trapped in a house with a bunch of booby traps or something. One guy goes running blindly into a room and there's no floor! Luckily he held on to the doorknob and pulls himself back up.

Not real sure on some of these details, but I think it was a movie from the 70s. A police officer (out of uniform) and his son are in a car. They have a passenger, another guy. The guy turns to the kid and says "So when you grow up are you going to be a cop like your old man?". He seems to realize he used the word "cop", so he turns to the officer and says "sorry".
