I have seen this a very long time ago, somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 years ago. I don't even know whether it was in color because we had a B/W TV set at the time.

There's a large haunted tree that extended its branches into a house, trying to grab or kill the inhabitants. The survivors escape the house, and witness the tree just... magically disappearing. Or something. I must have been around 5 or 6 at the time, and this is all I remember.

Two movies spring to mind when animated trees come into play. The well known Poltergeist and the lesser known The Guardian.

The second Resident Evil movie has Milla drive a Harley into a church and into a monster.
Mad Max has a pretty famous although not graphic motorcycle death.

As for actual tire to the face, I can't think of any specifically. Most of the motorcycle kills I can recall deal with ramming someone, them holding onto the front, then ramming the person and the bike into a wall or crates or something.

There is one movie I only saw parts of when I was a kid, but the parts that I remember stick in my mind, and I would love to actually see it someday. The time period is mid to late 80's, and it was seen on VHS. From what I recall, the movie had good guys, and at least one bad guy that was actually a creature that took control of people's bodies, and when he needed to switch bodies, he was vomited out and somehow took control of someone else. This made the task of catching the "bad guy" very difficult for the good guys who may have been cops. At the end, after the good guys are victorious, there is a scene in a hospital where the main good guy goes through a similar process as the bad guy changing bodies (making the audience think the bad guy is still around), but instead of a thing similar to the bad guy coming out, it is apparent that it is something very good. It may have been a yellow light. This may or may not have been the first time we saw the good guy in this state.

I think the plot is similar to Fallen with Denzel Washington, but there is an actual creature instead of a spirit chanign bodies by touch.

My reflex is that it's The Hidden, given that both the good and bad guy were alien in nature.

The Chevy Chase movie Funny Farm had a gag where their isolated farm house's phone connection was flagged as a public phone so he had to try and trick them into thinking he deposited coins. Alright CineD, you're my last hope. I've tried to figure out what this movie is since it scarred me in childhood and haven't had any luck yet:

It's a live-action short film that would play on Nickelodeon in the mid 80's if they needed to fill in time. Apparently, they had a lot of time to fill because I saw this short ALOT. It goes like this:

A director rolls strips of film onto reels, sticks them all in a closet, and then leaves his store/house/studio for the day. After he leaves, the film comes alive and unspools itself into a big moving heap via stop-motion. The blob of film starts chasing the guy down the street and corners him in a dining room or something. The guy fights off the film with a magnet. The film tries to sneak in the door, but the guy presses the magnet onto the strips to keep it at bay. Eventually, the guy falls asleep with the magnet on a window sill and the film sneaks in and loving EATS THE GUY. It coils around him like a bunch of snakes and the guy is screaming and struggling and trying to grab the magnet, but the film wraps all around him and then the guy is just gone. After eating the guy, the film returns to its reels and the credits start.

Like I said, this played on Nickelodeon in the mid-80's when stuff like Pinwheel and Turkey TV was on. I've looked everywhere on the internet for any information about this short, but I've come up empty. I beg you CineD! Help me! Help me find this short film that so traumatized me as a child, yet I always had to watch it when it came on!

All I can remember about it, though, is this one scene. What I assume is the main character was dressed, if I can recall correctly, in a suit. I think he had dark hair. He was being attacked by a little winged demon creature in a kitchen. He defeats it by sticking it in a large boiling pot and putting the lid on.

This has bugged me for years. I want to know what it was!

There's a scene in the quasi-Lovecraftian Cast a Deadly Spell which has a scene like this. The main character is hexed in a restaurant kitchen and a demon is brought forth in the form of a cat-sized bundle of jaws and claws.
