It's an outstanding movie and I've been looking for it everywhere but to no avail . After listening to the director of West Bank Story talk about the problems inherent in making a comedy about Israel/Palestine relations, it started me thinking about another one, from a few years ago (5-8, TOPS--I remember seeing ads at the Belcourt for it). I honestly don't remember much; I believe it was from the Palestinan point of view, and for some reason, I feel like a balloon played heavily in the trailer. The problem is, I never saw it--it looked pretty bizarre, but not uninteresting. Any idea what I'm talking about?

A unit of soldiers for some reason or other are being held in a camp, only I got the impression they were American soldiers being held by American soldiers. The camp is run by a sadistic bald man (who I believe is the same baldy who plays the principle in Back to the Future who always yells "slacker!"). For some reason or other he likes to have them in states of undress and he rapes one of the female soldiers at one point. When one of the protagonists finds out (he has a beard I think) he's dragged away by either guards or other guys in his unit while he screams "YOU RAPED HER" Sure it wasn't a TV show? Okay, usually I'm answering this thread, not asking, but this has been bugging me lately. I have no idea what brought this into my head, but I remember seeing a movie where a character has died. I want to say that it was a businessman, a company president, or something like that, but maybe I'm wrong. Anyways, the part I'm sure about: another character goes to the funeral at a church (it felt like the generic Catholic Church set you see in every movie), and there is a clergyman speaking to an empty church. No one has shown up to this guy's funeral. The clergyman sees the character walk in, and says, "Oh, someone's here! Should I start over?" I remember the scene was supposed to be pretty sad, definitely not played for laughs, I think. I know this is just one scene, but I feel like this is a pretty major movie - I remember seeing it when I was younger, and so it probably wouldn't be too obscure. Help?
