This one should be easy. It is currently being discussed in a thread on SA somewhere, but I can't find it. It's the movie with no dialog that looks like it inspired the "cursed video" in The Ring. I haven't seen it, so that's really all I remember about it.

I haven't seen this since I was very young. All I remember is a scene where a man is walking toward a redcoat-type soldier on a bridge. The soldier walks toward him. The man shoots/stabs/kills the soldier who then splits into two of himself. The man kills both of them, they then split into even more, etc. I know nothing else about this movie, except, knowing what I know about film these days, it has a sort of Terry Gilliam feel to it. Sound familiar?
