it's easy to forget before they purged it partially in response to SA mockery, TVT had a lot of pages dedicated to catalouging things like panty shots, rape tropes, fetish tropes with long and exhaustive sections on underage characters in kids media, and a bunch of skeevy stuff along those lines. It's been cleaned up a lot

It feels like it would be appropriate enough as an added threat for a higher level party, but if you throw it at a 2nd level party it's just a weird casino. It dies to a couple of damage spells, but you can also get very unlucky and fail two Intelligence checks and the 3d6 roll before those damage spells go off. It only has a +1 to Int so it isn't actually super likely to win the contest even against a character who has a -1, but it's such a huge swing on three dice rolls. I think this is the one that they infamously threw into a beginning level adventure book with no flags that might alert the (likely new) players they were facing something more dangerous than a swarm of rats or w/e.

Oona is cool and I will be sad if her role in the story ends up being 'cool lady who dies so dipshit dude (sorry Redcloak) can learn a lesson'. But I feel like she probably is being set up to have a more interesting role than that.
