You know, we could almost use a "go to list" for recommended TVs and poo poo like how we do for PCs in that subforum.

Well it seems to me, and what I found while researching the TV I have in my living room is that 3d automatically comes with any upper mid range, higher end tv. More $$ --> Better video processor --> better picture --> smart functions & 3d bundled in.

I've got Dish TV that uses the cable drop that goes to all the bedrooms, so when I had Comcast come out to install internet they brought an additional drop in, just a single line to the router. Works great.
