The Only Trustworthy Goon
Okay, I will be totally blown away if anyone can help me with this.

Sometime in the early to mid 1990s, I heard a Christian album with a country feel, and I can't remember the name of the artist or the titles of any songs. The singer's name was Gordon (something) or (something) Gordon; the only song I recall from the album had something to do with Gabriel's Trumpet (and that may be the title of the song, I don't know).

It's driving me absolutely insane. I've googled and wiki'd and searched newsgroups to no avail. Please, end my torment?
