I'm looking for some new portable speakers to take to presentations (so, computer-ish speakers, since they'll plug into a laptop). Ideally, I'd like something without a lot of cables, so I was wondering if there were any "solo speaker" systems out there made for the purpose of sitting in the middle of a conference table with just one power cord and a speaker cord. Any ideas on something like that? I'm trying to find something that will allow me to both have very good sound (these rooms are pretty big), and a lack of cable mess. Any ideas?
