Perfect for getting that last bit of food from across the table.
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but hey...

I just got an LG home theater setup. For some reason I cannot get sound from my television to play through it.

I've checked, double checked and triple checked. I'm running from the audio out on the television to the audio in on the receiver. I'm selecting the correct source on the receiver (aux). I'm not getting anything.

It's a samsung television, and a friend of mine said on his, he had to turn on internal mute to force the tv to send the signal out. My television has no internal mute setting that I can find.

I've also tried an optical cable with similar non-results.

I'm almost totally out of ideas. Anybody solve a similar situation?

EDIT: I did some digging, and apparently my television has issues. I just bypassed it and went straight to the receiver.
