New helmet, I got the bell with mips. My head shrank since I lost about 25lbs and I’m a medium now. They didn’t have the hi vis one in stock :(

It has an autodimming visor which is kinda neat. I assume I can use it at night...?

I have a shoei with a transition lense and it's just fine at night. Takes up to ~20 seconds to fully darken in bright light.

Anyone have riding jeans they can recommend that don't look like dad jeans, aren't miserably hot, and don't cost $500? I've tried three different pairs now (RevIt Lombard 2 - weird cut, super baggy in the rear end; BullIt SR6 - bulky and hot due to the full length lining; Klim Fifty 2 - dad jeans, knee armor is uncomfortable) and I'm getting tired of paying $7*infinity for countless returns to RevZilla

Check out the scorpion covert pro. Full kevlar lining and cordura exterior. Armor is sold separately, but it comes with a spot for hips and knees. Mesh from the knee down to help with heat.
Reviews seem to vary on fit and placement of the knee armor pockets, though.

They're the lower end of the spectrum for A*. Real basic protection. Nothing fancy. A basic plastic bag between the outer and inner layers for the waterproofing.

Some manufacturers have different pad sizes, as well. I swapped out the standard medium pad in my RF-1200 for the thicker one and it fit much better.

At that price point, it's going to be like any other basic boot. You'll be lucky to get more than a season or two out of them.

It have a transition on my RF-1200 and like it quite a bit. Doesn't get as dark as a full dark tinted visor is, but it's dark enough.
Don't expect instant transition, though.

If they didn't want me texting and swapping to the next Meatloaf song while riding, why did they put cruise control as standard on the bike?
