I haven't seen anything in this forum on guides to selling your used car. I'm selling my car and I had hoped that someone would have laid out the pros and cons of selling to individuals vs. dealers, websites like Carmax.com, how to value your car, how Blue Book value relates to the price you can reasonably ask, what things like excellent condition vs. good condition actually entail, how to make a good ad for your car on craigslist or whatever, etc. There's a guide for buying in this thread so slapping a guide for selling in one of the reserved posts on the first page makes sense to me. Maybe I've completely overlooked something and all the AI regulars will laugh at me but I think this thread is incomplete without all that stuff. At least a couple of links to http://www.kbb.com/ and http://www.carmax.com/ seem called for.
