I've always found shortwave to be really interesting. Right now, I can't afford a SW radio, so I'm jealous of all of you. The idea of being able to pick up radio broadcast from somewhere halfway around the planet is awesome to me.

And those "numbers stations" sound spookily cool. (PS - did you guys know Wilco included stuff from a numbers station on their album Yankee Hotel Foxtrot?)
