Does anyone remember the episode where Adam talks about Kenny Rogers's band's song "What Condition my Condition is in"? Or the one where they talk about cartoon or old 70s show theme songs? Those were great and I can't remember em.

The one on 12/8/2004 starts with a great 20 minute long story about a traffic jam Adam and Drew got into the previous night. I think the rest of the episode is good too, but that is one of my favorite Adam stories, and he hasn't repeated it a thousand times since then.

I love Loveline Tapes, man. That site is everything I ever wanted for accessing Loveline episodes. Giovanni is bizarrely prideful and overly dedicated, and I guess it's nice that he secured all these unreleased episodes, but I'm not even really interested in the early days of the show because there's hundreds of episodes from 1999 on. I don't mind his contextualizing prefaces, but I also don't need them or listen to them.

I remember his comedy traffic school company was called Lettuce Amuse You, but that's a bit different because it's part of the story's joke. I loved Adam's attitude with that job too, where he would just give everyone the test for 15 minutes and then leave for the other 6 hours or whatever. Adam was cool.

I loved Adam back when the callers, the show format, his coworkers, and the studio building itself were seemingly all working against him. That dude was really funny under those conditions. I'll also throw out a plug for one of my favorite stories, where Adam and Drew got stuck in a tragic jam after doing Loveline. I think it was December 14 2004
