What are the chances of the stream ever working again?

Wulp, that loveline torrent is glacial. Anywhere I can download batches of episodes sans lovelinetapes? I'm doing the limit (fiveish at a time) there but drat, I wish I could just magic a thousand episodes onto my computer.

Hey, what years do you guys think were the best for Loveline? 1999, 2000, 2001? Is 2004 still golden age? Hm.

When does Loveline's golden age end? 2003ish? 2005 when Adam left? Only in the 90s?!

I feel like 2002 is when it starts to drop off a little but I'm talking out of my arse and would love some opinions.

Well, I've finally got all of golden era loveline. No more of that beautiful man for me!

Is there a current updated megapack of Adam Carolla era Lovelines floating around? I have about 70 gigs currently, but pre 2001 is sparse. I'm out of the loop, did Giovanni actually get old archive tapes? From what I understand he does a podcast where he makes it all about himself and rambles for 30 minutes before the episodes, quite possibly even interstitially? That's a bummer if true... does anybody ever do their own Giovanni-less edits of these shows?
Nope. Somebody has to grind download from lovelinetapes.com and upload a .torrent or :files:

I was actually trying to do that, but my hard drive dried once I got into 2000 and I gave up

Sorry
Pity about your hard drive! I wish had the patience. Once somebody finishes the 1990s + 2000 mp3s G______ won't have a monopoly.

Again, all you bitching about G____ download the .torrent already. There is no sweeter feeling than knowing you have 40 gigs of unspoiled pure Love.

Agreed. Although he does offer a handy service: http://superfangio.com/consulting/

I was relistening to the Will Arnett 'Waffle Crapper' episode and there is this great moment where they go:
"Hey, you are on the air."
"Hey"
and they immediately turn the mic off and guess she was molested.

Just chipping in with how great it is to have all of Loveline from the 90s till when Adam leaves on my hard drive. And how you should all also get it if you can.

You do have a certain feeling of "welp, now I've got it I'll never listen to it." though.

I'm enjoying compilation clips on youtube. When Adam and Drew are on fire they have amazing comedic beats.

2001-12-16 with Serenity is so good. I actually wish she was a co host because she brings great balance to both Adam and Drew. I've never heard a guest hold their own against Adam as much as she did. And she provided interesting perspectives on the calls. Which is funny because you'd think Adam would have just spent the whole time riffing on her job as a porn star.

It includes a cool extended discussion on PETA, gun rights and activism. And my favourite caller had to be the 'casual heroin user'.

Honestly, this is a huge stain on the 1990s/early 2000s Loveline era. Every time I hear him mention some brand pills I baulk. I don't even know if they are the ones he is shilling but still.

My greatest fear in life is my love of old Loveline being a vehicle for being stuck in the past. Blink riffs, 9/11 era politics, teenagers from the late 90s.

My second greatest fear is running out of unlistened-to episodes.
