I went to a Choking Victim reunion show in either 2005 or 2006 (loving insanity) and as I was leaving someone handed me a promo CD-R with the first 3 songs from Mad Conductor's Mechanical Claw EP on it. I was so confused the first time I listened to it.

At the Vacation listening party he was bartending and I went straight there after work and ended up being the first one there. We shot the poo poo for like 10-15 minutes. We both love Saves The Day.

Edit: John made fun of me for having no life.

Less Than Jake has what I guess is their first official live album coming out on April 29th, from a show recorded in London in 2001.

Worry loving rules. Only problem I have it is almost the entire second half consists of minute-long songs that sorta blur together.

That's one of the things I love about it. It's the punk rock version of Abbey Road.

Whatever happened to the supposed recording of BTMI's last show that Jeff was gunna release? It's been like two or three years since that show, where the gently caress is the video of it.

From his AMA on reddit:

I gotta dig through it all still. It's pretty much done, just not separated and tagged. I was going to do it right after the shows, but I went on a real productive creative tear with Chris Farren/Antarctigo Vespucci/Back To The Island and my solo record, and then producing the Smith Street record and then time got away from me. Now when I listen to it, it makes me very emotional and it's kind of hard to get it all ready. I'm gonna do it though. Don't worry.

I met him at the listening party for Vacation when it came out. They had it at the dive bar slash motorcycle repair shop that he worked at in Brooklyn. Cool guy.

I wake up and go to work just like I went to school (on the commute it's BTMI on Spotify instead of blink 182 on my discman). Then I go home and play video games for seven hours while talking to my friends on the computer and rarely ever seeing them in real life. Being an overgrown child rules and sucks so loving much.
