Oh yeah I checked them out on YouTube but forgot to post. Seems like they manage to capture the cutsie factor of Hyper Hindu Squatters and the shear rage of The Comes

I am devastated tbh, they’re one of my favorite bands. They were my top artist on Apple Music this year and I was one of their top 100 listeners. I am really glad I got to see them play at Riot Fest. I was really upset when they canceled the rest of their shows for the year, I was really looking forward to seeing them in Buffalo last month. gently caress, this really sucks.

Just played them on the radio less than 24 hours ago as part of "Best albums of 2023" special and now I feel like jinxed them. :smith:

Missed out on seeing them too when they played Monty Hall in Jersey City. This sucks.

The album I listened to the most was Screaming Females - Desire Pathway but I also liked the new Mustard Plug album.

Biggest disappointment was definitely Rancid - Tomorrow Never Comes, it was so bland. No heart in it at all. The title track is fun but that’s all. Trouble Maker was actually a decent album so it’s not like they haven’t put out anything good recently.

Honestly 2023 wasn’t too great for me, I look at a lot of recent albums I really liked and all of them came out in 2022. Well next year might have new Propagandhi and War on Women albums in which case that would kick all kinds of rear end.
