My other nomination, if they count, is Sigh - Hangman's Hymn. They still seem to be somewhat Black Metal at least, and it's one of my top contenders for album of the year. It's one of the craziest albums I've ever heard, and I just can't stop listening to it.

Sigh is great! Their album this year was definitely one of the best in my opinion. I listen to it pretty regularly and at work a lot (a few coworkers have said this is the 'better' of the stuff I put on). It's all over the place without sounding like they're trying to be all over the place.
