I think the ipod only sees podcasts in the podcasts app or folder. They don't show in regular playlists

An iPod and iPad I could justify. Get over it. Nobody will care. I have 2-3 ios devices running simultaneously not only at home but when I am on an airplane or otherwise around people. Really no one cares.
