I just got a christmas tree! Hooray! However, it's a real christmas tree, and according to what I've been able to google, pine seems to be a toxin to cats. This would be an indicator to toss the tree, but other sites say to just keep an eye on pine needles, and pick up any dropped ones. Other people have said they've had live trees several years without incident. What are other peoples experiences?
