I know that they eventually moved into the school and made it their fortress of sorts to defend against the roving bands of gangs that had formed. Any ideas? The Girl Who Owned a City The virus kills everyone over twelve, but everything else is exactly as you describe, with the turning the school into a fortress and everything.
