 This one is a long shot but I figure I'll try for it anyways. It was a short horror story in a horror anthology book. It was about many people drowning in this public pool. The main character is a guy who's son was drowned in the pool. He thinks that it is really strange so he breaks in at night and sees this chameleon thing that has been drowning the kids. The rest of the story is blurry but I think the guy gets killed and the pool is drained with the creature into a local pond or something. Any help to what anthology this could be a part of or the actual story name would be fantastic.
