Some crappy fantasy book from when I was a kid.. I don't remember much of it. Something about a thief, hits town, has a rendevouz with one of the local whores and ends up agreeing to retrieve something for some wizard. He steals a ring from the wizard, heads to retrieve the item, and is beset by all manners of crazy poo poo. A maze, I believe, some floating eyeball and tons of stuff. Then, at the very end, he finds out it's because he's wearing that ring. I know, obscure. Any ideas?
