Memory lane time! Does anyone remember reading/know the name/author of a short story involving the "people" that create clouds? All I can remember of the story was a male figure who "designed" the sky each day, and it had to be "approved"- But looking down he begins to notice a little girl in a park who looks up at the sky each day, and he tries to communicate with her with messages in the clouds that he sneaks past being approved and then he gets caught and into trouble. It was in my 5th grade reading or literature megabook (McDougal Littell type), and I'm 24 now so something like 1997. Does anyone remember this/know what I'm talking about? HALP!
