I've seen it sitting out in front of their house for a few weeks now, but i only just noticed it posted to craigslist this morning. Its has an original mileage of 30,000 (UK here so Miles not Km). The engine runs fine as does the gearbox. The only issue it that it has been sat for 3 years outside so the bosy needs the work hence the project bit. Its for sale at £300... am I retarded biting her hand off? Its almost my dream ride (want the integrale obviously!) Does it look anything like this? If so, I'd buy that motherfucker in a heartbeat. 300 pounds is what, like $500? That seems pretty cheap for what I'd consider to be a cool car. Of course I don't think I've ever seen one for sale in the US, and I don't know poo poo about them. At the very least it would be something to keep in the garage to dick around with from time to time.

The car is awesome but after doing some online searching it appears the seller has been trying to sell it for a year and a half for $50k https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/volkswagen/unspecified/1904102.html?refer=blog https://bringatrailer.com/2016/12/27/chrome-country-1991-volkswagen-golf-4x4-in-new-jersey/ So buyer beware if you are thinking of bidding on this car, I wouldn't expect the seller to honor his no reserve auction
