Seeing someone with my bike, all dressed up for what looks to be a road trip, makes me very, very happy. Maybe I just really like seeing someone using something other than a big touring bike for ... touring. Remember kids, bungee cords are a perfectly acceptable substitute for hard bags, providing everything is jammed into a waterproof duffel bag.

I imagine it would drive rather well in traffic, because it's a large engine with no boost before 3k rpm.

And aren't GS500's like $5,000 brand new?
