If that's not enough, he made a webpage listing all the sweet mods:

http://www.public.iastate.edu/~rajat87/Portfolio/car.html

A couple things I hate about that post. First, it's in Kansas City, where I live now; and second, the "car page" is an Iowa State University student page, where I went to school

Anyway, I read all the stuff he said about it, but I still don't see where all the money went. It's still got hubcaps, for christ's sake.

The price is right on, though, since he says it has $59000 miles. What a deal!

I don't know anything about Supras, but the car in this ad is not a typical DD Supra. I'm not saying the price is right (I have no idea), but it's definitely not a garden variety Supra if it really has 1082rwhp as claimed in the ad.

No one drives like grandma drove. <100 HP of fury can be yours today for only 3200 bucks!

What's funny is that I *never* see late-80s Stanzas anymore. It's like they all dropped off the face of the earth. My mom had an '84, then an '87 which eventually became my sister's first car, and then she killed it. My dad had an '87 Maxima (that talked!) and I never see those either. Seeing this ad actually makes me a little nostalgic for my high school days (though our Stanzas were all silver).

Sorry for the odd sized screen cap...

Sorry to post this tired cliché, but if it were close to me I would buy it. I'm not kidding. Sure, it's quickly becoming winter here in Minnesota, but I'd buy it, stick it in my garage and fix what it needed until I could proudly drive it around all next summer. I always wanted to buy something like a mid-70s land yacht and cut the top off like that, maybe even weld the doors shut... I was going to paint mine some other color, but the army green is awesome.

poo poo, I didn't even think of welding the doors shut. That Crown Vic is a perfect car for Dukes of Hazzard-style over-the-door entry. Seeing it makes me wish I had the money to chop the top off a Mercury Marauder.
