First, it's in Kansas City, where I live now; and second, the "car page" is an Iowa State University student page, where I went to school Anyway, I read all the stuff he said about it, but I still don't see where all the money went. It's still got hubcaps, for christ's sake. The price is right on, though, since he says it has $59000 miles. What a deal!

It's like they all dropped off the face of the earth. My mom had an '84, then an '87 which eventually became my sister's first car, and then she killed it. My dad had an '87 Maxima (that talked!) and I never see those either. Seeing this ad actually makes me a little nostalgic for my high school days (though our Stanzas were all silver).

I know this isn't from Craigslist, but it's not worth it's own thread and dammit, I want it. It's a good thing I'm not in the market for a new car right now because I'd probably do something stupid like come home with this one. It wouldn't even fit in my garage, but at least I'd get to play Ronin every time I drove it.

Sure, it's quickly becoming winter here in Minnesota, but I'd buy it, stick it in my garage and fix what it needed until I could proudly drive it around all next summer. There's no way my wife would let me buy a used cop car, chop the top off it and paint it flat green, but how could she argue with one that's already had all that done for ONLY $500?

That Crown Vic is a perfect car for Dukes of Hazzard-style over-the-door entry. Seeing it makes me wish I had the money to chop the top off a Mercury Marauder.
