I'm tempted to go buy this bike just so I can talk to this comedic genius.

2005 Ninja Project Bike/Part Bike $500.00 - $500 (Tempe, AZ)

"Sharky" was a fast near mint (2005), little 250 with under 10k miles... until some hit 'n run cage jockey broadsided me.

Most of Sharky is still in good shape, that is the wheels are round, the frame isn't bent and most of the plastic and tank were spared abuse.

The unspeakable atrocities the oblivious fiend perpetrated upon Sharky:

The radiator was bisected...it is no more, also the metal hose the that transported coolant to, well, wherever coolant wanted to go was smooshed flat...noodle flat.

The generator cover, on the lower left side of the engine was holed...as to what like behind the cover i don't know but the little spinning flywheel is probable DOA as well.

All the juice ran out of Mr. Battery.

The left clip on was bent and is now... wiggly and half the clutch leaver went to clutch leaver heaven.

The fairing is...perhaps salvageable if ya sawed of the jagged bottom bits but the turn indicator on that side will never play the piano again.

That about it... everything else is there and working (even the plastic side panels that I forgot to but back on for the photo shoot)

I could part it out but I'm way too lazy and not all that mechanically inclined so the first $500 takes it...I'll certainly listen to ballpark cash offers, but it's a small ball park.

Title in hand... free test rides if you know of a big hill…

That thing is amazing. Think it's actually a swap or just somehow put the old C-body on the Touareg?

I wondered the same thing. Turns out the Touareg was unibody so there's more than just a chassis swap going on here.

Either that or scammers have taken to Photoshopping together bizarre swaps that appeal to the most insane members of a niche audience. :psyduck:

Whoa. I can't imagine anyone pulled off such a project in 11 months, but I messaged this guy just to see.

EDIT - Nope, wasn't this person.

Hey look, there's another one.

This one is certainly less interesting, but someone is making a habit of building drivetrain and interior swapped C10s, parking them in handicap spots and poorly describing them.

Anyone want to guess what the hell this thing is? The thumbnail made me think Miata body swap or a kit car of some kind, but after clicking though I'm not sure. This couldn't possibly be an actual two seatified Tri-5 Chevy, could it?

It's an actual '56 Chevy that's been shortened, I've seen a couple of others. Way back in the 60's a local auto shop had a '55 that had two front ends grafted together as an advertising gimmick, but I don't think it ever drove. Just google image search "shortened 56 (or 55/57) chevy"

Wow, I had no idea. Someone really should have told these people that the Corvette is a thing.

Though now that I know these exist, I am totally into the Nomad version.

Yeah, it's a 4-door with the rear doors removed. Once upon a time, 4-door Tri-fives were just about worthless.

That's not a Nomad. It was a 4-door wagon. Nomads are 2-doors to begin with. They also have a differently-shaped rear wheel arch opening. Same deal with the wagons - worthless if not a Nomad, once upon a time.

That said: would.

Ah, I had completely forgotten about the 4 door versions of both. This all makes much more sense now and I can appreciate people chopping and welding these into the indisputably correct number of doors.

1988 Nissan Pulsar NX Sportbak - RARE RAD Ttop Wagon 7 hours ago Ontario cars & trucks -by owner posted:

Please read the whole ad. If it's still up, its still available.

Unapologetically 80s, this rare car checks off a lot of my favorite car features including; pop-up headlights, t-tops, wagon body and a manual transmission. The only modular car ever made with the option to swap out its regular trunk lid for the rare sportbak wagon canopy or leaving it off to turn it into a UTE. It will come with the extra trunk lid and SE frontend conversion. The car is lowered on BC coilovers and sits on rare period correct 15" Work Equip 01s wrapped in Toyo Extensa Tires. Lots of new parts including tie rods, oem sway bar, alternator, battery, headlights, radiator and more. The car is complete with no mechanical issues, no leaks and smog in hand.

The car took me 2 years to find and 4 more years to source all the parts, so I’m in no rush to sell. Just hoping to find someone that can appreciate this unique piece of automotive history. They’ll never make another like it.

Feel free to message with any questions.

Located in Southern California.

Seller's Description
This is the Runs Good Sand Runner 1991 Mazda Miata!
Sold AS-IS... some areas are pretty rough! (see pics) Turbo 1.6 engine runs great but transmission has issues. Shifter will engage, clutch pedal works, no engagement to the driveshaft. Not sure what's happening there... assuming that it needs a transmission. No battery, but I put one in to start it up for the video and can do the same for any serious buyers. No seat belts. No top. No key. 91 only.

Turbo Kit
Equal length manifold
Intercooler
Long travel custom suspension (Front passenger side needs reinforcement/bolts broke while gettin' it!)
Feal Suspension 441 coilovers
Torsen LSD
Konig Wheels
Sand/paddle tires
Hydraulic handbrake (drift brake)
Hard Dog roll bar
Winch
Boost and A/F gauges
Kirkey bucket seat

If you're not in love with the current suspension setup, the long travel can be removed if you have stock components. Could be a great off-roader, easily converted to a drift car, or with a lot of love a daily driver.

Bring a trailer, make me an offer, NOT LOOKING FOR TRADES.

EDIT - Oh, apparently "Runs Good" is a Motortrend show I was not aware of.
