It's so cool to see other Goons on Etsy! I had to heart all of your stores! I started selling on ETSY in early December of last year and it has been great! SOOO much better than eBay. It's easier to use as a seller, and much cheaper in terms of fees. Still, you have to learn how to play the game. There is a lot of competition as it's growing in popularity by leaps and bounds. My niche is maternity t-shirts, new dad shirts, stuff for grandparents, etc: http://jellybeanapparel.etsy.com For all you buyers out there, definitely check Etsy out. I have gotten some awesome deals! I bought my mom a hand-made, convertible wool (not knit, but you could wear it different ways) hat for $35 after Christmas. It was from a NY hat maker and very chic! There are some higher prices, sure, but some stuff that is way cheap, you almost feel guilty. Feel free to ask questions. I do this full time, but just on Etsy. I've learned A LOT along the way.

So I finally added a few (two!) items to start my Etsy shop: http://nrapture.etsy.com I'm specializing in cross stitch that is in no way cutesy kittens, rainbows or crosses yet doesn't require 100 different colors to complete. I haven't seen anyone else with quite the same idea so I'm hoping there is some interest.

This is my one-item, for now, shop. I just listed the hair goo I've been working on for a while. I can say without a doubt that ETSY is worlds more professional-looking than eBay. The vast majority of ebay sellers are aesthetically retarded.

I'm a potter and I've just started an Etsy page. I mostly do functional pieces like cups, bowls, vases, etc. But I also do some figurines, mostly sheep right now. I don't have any listed on my Etsy because I'm currently putting together a bunch of my sheep to take to an art show. EstherGeraghty.etsy.com I'm hoping I can generate a few sales, I'm not really sure how much revenue an Etsy can generate, but I'd love to eventually be able to sell enough pieces to buy my own wheel and in the future maybe even a kiln.

Holy cow you guys have some awesome etsy shops and as soon as I have money again I am going to spend all of it there post haste. I don't have an etsy shop myself, though I've toyed with the idea. I do like Sweet Spice's shop far too much for my own good. I got a Shea Stick that smells like Rum Raisin from the Sampler and I got hooked. The Shea Sticks and Sugar Scrubs are the best.

Yah, I am totally enjoying Etsy, I've gotten 6 sales so far since signing up ( http://rathina.etsy.com )It does take a lot of work though to promote yourself though I am starting to realize. And its also addicting, I've spent so much time on Etsy in the past 3 weeks I've totally neglected all my other usual websites like myspace or celebrity gossip pages haha

Oh man an etsy thread how did I miss this? This is my main shop in which I sell nerdy and cute 1" buttons -- and some other stuff too. And this is my other shop for buttons that kind of clash with cute things -- politics, propaganda, etc. And here are some shops I love! Australian jewelery; I bought earrings for my mom's christmas gift and she loves them. Kanzashi, Japanese silk hand ornaments. The girl even hand-dyes them herself. They're expensive but so pretty. Alberto's World, plushies from Germany. I want Joaquin the deer SO bad. I'm so glad to be able to check out goon etsy shops. Since I started this new job a week ago, I haven't been able to devote as much time to my shop and I can really tell from the lack of steady orders. Argh!

I'm not 100% sure I have the time to be a leader. I guess it all depends on what we want out of the team, how active we want to be? Running Savor takes almost 40 hrs a week and I have a full time job on top...I think I'll pass out if I take on too much more. If anyone does want the leadership (Mrs Orgasmo!!) it's allll yours
