Ozmiander posted:Why would you remove the reusable, more efficient filter? Pretty sure K&N filters let more crap through. They are mostly hype and higher costs. They let in more air because the holes are bigger and those holes let in more dust.

Ozmiander posted:Definitely not getting in to THAT argument It isn't scientific, but my K&N let more dust in. I could tell a difference between it and a paper filter by the residue that was left in the box. Also you are the one who brought it up in the first place, so I wont argue if you don't want to.

Advent Horizon posted:I would have said the same thing if it didn't have portal axles. I hadn't noticed that before. Yeah. I like the old trucks this was inspired by and I like the portal axles on this one. I think it is cool that they did it instead of another wrangler with poo poo bolted on and an awful paintjob. Also, that blue color is the best color.

infrared35 posted:(they're apparently nitrogen-filled - what do I do about that?) Please tell me that you are joking. Just fill them up. Most air is nitrogen. Also, pack extra fluids just in case you have a problem far from help. mod sassinator posted:Wow there's a lot more than that jeep-imog concept from Mopar, check out: http://www.autoblog.com/2012/03/28/jeep-talks-about-its-mighty-moab-concepts-on-camera/ That JC-12 is clean and I want it very badly. I want it with a diesel. Atticus_1354 fucked around with this message at 04:34 on Mar 29, 2012 |

mattfl posted:Oops, just got caught at work with my top up but no front doors. Cue huge thunderstorm out of nowhere and like 3 inches of water in the front footwells! Wish I would have removed the plugs already. Currently the sun is out and we are air drying now! It's ok to roll without the plugs in the floor right? Just incase this happens again. My CJ7 never had floor plugs in. It also never had doors on it so this was kind of necessary. Now I am sad and wish I had another stripped down basic jeep. Hell I wish I had any kind of jeep right now.

New ranch buggy acquired. Runs, drives and 4wd works but it needs a lot of work.
