You cost me a good night's sleep but it was worth it. It was really only chapter 43 that had sketchy art but at least it didn't drop to anywhere near Hunter X Hunter levels.

It alternates a lot between "wow that's awesome" and "wow that's sad".

"end badly" is an interesting view. Seems like it will end awesomely with the protagonist kicking rear end again without time to take names. Things have never looked good for his field-clearing slave buddy, from the moment he got a crush on Arneis.

I miss when Historie had Eumenes fighting personally. Or doing anything besides offering a line or two of commentary/advice per chapter.

Vinland: Since they both survived the fight, I'm guessing they'll be teaming up in some capacity, at least for the incoming attack. maybe some travels after.
