 VEHICLE: 1979 Ford Fairmont XC
GOAL: Short term, get it road legal to enjoy it. Long term to fully restore it.
DIFFICULTY: Medium
COSTS: $3000 for the car, $700 for the mig welder, a few $ here and there for miscellaneous parts.

For 8 years or so I've wanted an XA, XB or XC Ford Falcon coupe.
With prices the way they are and the fact I live in NZ (where these are even more rare than in Australia) this wasn't going to happen.

In December 08 I found a 1979 Ford Fairmont XC sedan.
