It may have had a duck as the main character, and I think the demo level was a mansion or temple. A large building, I think. There may have been acid pits involved. Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow? A game where you play as Donald Duck as a ninja. The demo came with the Toy Story tie-in game. The first level was indeed a mansion.
