Doctor Zero: Sep 21, 2002; Would you like a jelly baby?
It's been in my pocket through 4 regenerations,
but it's still good.

My First bike - 1980 Yamaha XS400. Now in the hands of my cousin who needed a bike badly.

My Second bike which I rode the lion's share of last year. 1982 GL500i Silverwing. While I loved the bike, I sold it because I moved up to the next one.

Current bike: The beast. 1999 1500CF Valkyrie. Was dropped and sold in an insurance auction. I bought her and saved her from being chopped up for parts. Replaced the whole front faring and had the bag repainted.

Two cool d00ds (me and my dad)

My girlfriend likes the bike too!

2. Hose down bike*

3. Spray Hondabrite on bike

4. Rinse thoroughly

(*optional, but it works better if you get the surface dust off)

There's totaled totaled, and then there's insurance totaled. I'd bet it's insurance totaled. If the retail on all that damage is greater than the value of the bike, then insurance considers it totaled, regardless of the reality.

I rode for a few miles on the highway today with it being very windy out and found out just how much the bike can get knocked around in the wind. I was tailing my friend who has a 650lbs cruiser and the FZ6 is about 450 with a full tank and man, I could barely keep it under control while his was doing just fine. First time I've ridden in really heavy winds so it was very scary for a bit.

From someone who rides a 750lb cruiser, while a heavier bike is better, they are still thrown around quite a bit*. Like Z3n said, relax the death grip on the bars, and try to stay in your lane, and you'll be fine.

*and actually if he has a windshield, it's probably worse in a crosswind since it acts like a loving sail.

You're right. There are definitely four headers coming out of that engine. It actually seems compact by my standards; my old honda's engine just sort of flows out of the frame, and it's a four as well. The Yammy seems a bit more compact... maybe the tank is bigger?

I think the CBR1000RR would be SO much better for him in terms of comfort as it's slightly longer (he's 6'2" or so) but also how much he'll get out of it riding it. Even the dealer agreed that he'd be unlikely to outgrow the 1000 any time soon.

I was gonna buy a 600 but went for a 750 instead, best decision ever

What's he going to do if he rides for 20 years? he's going to have to get a CBR5000 or something!

The odds that a plate will *not* have any repeating letters or numbers is (26*25*24*10*9*8) or 1:11,232,000
A plate with any number/letter combo at all is (26*26*26*10*10*10) or 1:17,576,000
The odds that a plate will not be in either of those two groups has to be the difference...
1:(17,576,000-11,232,000)= 1 in 6,344,000

My head hurts.

The problem is they skip sequences like nnn FUK, so no matter how hard you try, you're going to be too high.
