Well guys I've been waiting a long time for this post.

Bought it tonight after work, 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 250 8500 miles on it. I was going to try and load it in the back of a friends truck and bring it back. However I couldn't locate a ramp nor tie down steaks for his ranger in time. So I did what any sane person would do and rode it 50miles back home. It was awesome, and worth every penny. This is my first bike, and thanks to all of you guys who recommended the Ninja 250, I love it. Pants and proper boots are forthcoming this weekend, as I felt naked from the waste down in those jeans. Possibly a new set of gloves too.

Finally good pictures of my 1978 Peugeot 103 SP. I got a suprise today. The bike has the CVT. I thought it was single speed.

That is so cool, didn't realize CVTs had been around that long. Also it's the perfect color.

I washed my bike, cleaned and lubed the chain, and took it for a little spin today. Just a few miles shy of 11,400miles on the bike, and 3000 miles of seat time for me in the first 3 months of owning a motorcycle, hurray! Also note, if you take the front windscreen off it's neigh impossible to get the lower screws back on without removing the upper fairing. That's a next weekend project I think.

North Dallas or Houston? Those photos just look so North Dallas it's uncanny. The homes, and the complete lack of anything on the skyline. Oh and that's an amazingly cool bike.

I'll drink to that, in a couple months when you're comfortable head up north and ride FM455 from Celina, and work your way west to Muenster. Best ride in the area I've found.

And for those that say 250cc's is not enough power for a big guy, I am 6'2 270lbs and on my commute to work it goes 75mph easily and I was able to take it to 100mph without much effort (just a good wait!). I do look like a bear on a trike at the circus though, but I don't really care.

I've read about some people with too much money that have bought Africa Twins overseas and shipped them in 2-3 shipments as 'parts' and then registered them as 'kits'. Till I've got more money then I know what to do with I'll stick with this
