strwrsxprt posted:Finally got the cables cleaned up. MacBook got an upgrade, and the PS2 was voted off of the island. The monitor got swapped (Dell U2410), router got swapped (AirPort Extreme), Xbox 360 got swapped (Elite) and got banished along with the PS3 to the bookshelf. PC probably got updated a few times too, but it's still the same case. Oh and there's a cute little Mac Mini on the desk now too. It's awesome having every device hooked up to a single display with room still to spare.

A glass desk would allow me to see all of the cables underneath my desk while I'm sitting at it which would bug the hell out of me.

Your desk is a bit bare. My Ikea Jerker recently got a new desk lamp and a little plant. I like that the lamp is a spotlight that can be swiveled around to add accent lighting to the room when I don't need it pointed at my work surface. edit: Also why is every drat desk lamp LED now?! I can't stand the cool light. I get that it's energy efficient and the bulbs don't need replacing, but still. Star War Sex Parrot fucked around with this message at 02:16 on Feb 7, 2011 |
