1. was for the Genesis/SNES, a sci-fi sidescrolling shooter. I remember going through a level (possibly the first) and under some kind of condition, your player character gets equipped with a suit of power armour or something that looks kind of like an astronaut suit. Then you go through the level again, but the colour scheme is different and you're more powerful. It's kind of muddled, I'm afraid...

Could be ESWAT: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ESWAT:_City_Under_Siege, first thing that popped into my head.

I had a look at all the games mentioned, but it's not any of them. I don't think the player character was bare-chested, so my brawny barbarian comment probably was misleading. It's also possible it was on another system, possibly a mega drive, but I still think Amiga is most likely. However, none of the youtube videos I looked at seemed familiar.

Arcade game around the early to mid 90's, don't know if it had a home port, it was a lightgun game in 2D but had tons of sprite/background scaling to give a 3D effect of you moving through the stages, it was two player and one guy was red and the other blue. May have had 'Line' in the title? Also possibly a Sega game. Not a movie or any other license.
Sounds kind of vague now, trouble is it was kind of generic outside of the graphics being really good for the time (or so I thought).

A stranger was asking on my Facebook page about a game. Here's what I know:

-PS2
-The graphics were good, she likened it to Tomb Raider in general look/gameplay
-Protagonist was a brunette little girl (8-9), with some sort of monster/creature that was smaller than her, as a sidekick
-Fairly kiddy, but again, with good/realistic graphics
-Took place in a dark forest, with snow and all that, but also had some buildings (graveyard-ish?)
-More exploration than outright horror
-not one of the following: Jade Cocoon 2, Silent Hill, American McGee's Alice, Haunting Ground, Clock Tower, Lemony Snicket, Fatal Frame, Castleween, Siren.

Does it ring any bells? I generally like "help us figure a game out" stuff but this has me outright stumped.

I can think of a few things that fit most but none that fit everything. Primal or Rule of Rose?

Does anyone remember the name of a Playstation 1 game set in a cyberpunk future. I think it was an Action RPG but I cant remember for sure.

The only other clues I can give is that I played it about 18-20 years ago, and it had a long rear end bar conversation scene near the beginning, which at the time was the longest cutscene I’ve ever played in a game and that the game had a Japanese version. I think it might have been a Japanese developed game, but I cant be 100% sure.

A few months back I visited a friend in the hospital and there was an XBox One in the room. A handful of games were pre-installed and I'm trying to find one of them.

The game was 2-d, side scrolling. You controlled a character navigating a dungeon with puzzles. At one point your one character split into two, and you controlled both of them at the same time, opt and bottom of the screen. I think one was purple and the other green? As you progressed through the levels, you were given a score and a perfect score gave you a golden insignia. The levels climbed up a tree, I think. The game had a hippy/new-age vibe to it. My friend thinks the game started with a Z but I went through a list of games and didn't recognize it.

Thanks in advance.

PC Engine game from the early 90's most likely an arcade port, very similar to Bubble Bobble/Rainbow Islands/Parasol Stars but I don't think it was by Taito.
