Like 18 years ago I played this game that was sort of like Nethack on a Tandy computer but instead of having ascii symbols for characters it had really simple graphics. Like your character looked like a small blocky dude, but otherwise it played mostly the same. Any thoughts?

Edit: drat, that's not it.

I distinctly recall that the colors were black and white or at least the main character tile was just all black. Kinda looked like a swastika with a head and a sword but not really.
