Actually, I did have an EMC IP4700 for a few days -- it took a 4' drop off my cart on the way to my car. Flattened. Oops.

My only problem with the MD3000 (SAS) we use is that the controller card isn't compatible with FreeBSD. It only works with RHEL/Centos and Windows 2003/2008.

I haven't tested with FreeBSD. I just know it's not on the HCL and FreeBSD isn't listed as being compatible with it on Dell.com.
