Edit to add: How long does it usually take you to figure out how to make a sound, Yoozer? Seems like you generally know what's behind a sound when you first listen to it.

Anyone happen to know what synth Andy Moor likes to use? I know it's difficult to say precisely which one, since they all tend to sound quite similar.
