I'm not sure if this is the right thread for this as I'm not looking for a sound, per say, but rather how to achieve a particular effect. I'm trying to do something similiar to the the stuttering effect found on the vocals in this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IR9ZeA_fx4 (Crystal Castles - Crimewave (la riots remix) I have at my disposal Reason 4 and Ableton Live. I don't know what it's called, and therefore haven't been able to look up how to recreate it. Any help? I'd like to make it with Massive, by the way, though I don't think that changes things too much from any other synthesizer.
