I sincerely doubt anyone will know what I'm talking about, but.. I remember this flash animation from maybe five or six years ago? It was Japanese (I think) and featured this giant whale-like creature and the entire thing had a very cyberpunk kind of theme to it. I believe the whale thing sacrificed itself for some girl? I really liked that thing and I'd love to see it again. Also, if anyone has the full set of these pics, I'd be really grateful:
