Some goon who worked for one of those "Learn English on Tape" places made a parody mp3 a long time ago. It was hilarious and awesome, and I want to give it to my girlfriend. She keeps asking me for mp3s to work on her English a la Pimsleur, so until I find something good I want her to have this.

There was this hilarious clip that was posted on the forums a few years ago, before Youtube. I don't remember much of it, except that it seemed like a parody of those PBS educational childrens' shows, and there was a part where kids went around to people and asked them all sorts of hosed-up questions. The intro to that section was a bunch of kids singing "Kids on the street! Kids on the beat! Beat Kids! Beat Kids!" with the logo consisting of two fists with "BEAT KIDS" written on the knuckles. There was one part where I think a girl was asking people weird questions while they came out of the bathroom, and also clips of a meat-processing facility. And maybe a decomposing fox? I'm not sure about that part. That's all I can remember, and Youtube isn't very helpful when I search for "beat kids"
