I'm pretty sure someone has answered this before, but I'm damned if google can find the answer;

How to I make Opera on OS X 'open new tab in background' when I command click instead of opening it in the foreground?

The whole point of tabs is that I can open a bunch of links to read later without interrupting my reading of the current page - can't do this at present so Opera is unusable... no matter how badly I want to stop having firefox eat my CPU.

Please don't tell me I can just use Cmd-shift-click instead.
