I'm a laid off mechanical designer. Lately I've been considering going back to school. Unfortunately the local technical and trade schools mostly revolve around aircraft manufacturing. There are a few non-manufacturing courses though. CNA, LPN/LVN, and Medical Assistant appear to be my options. Would it be a good idea for someone to become an LPN, then study for an RN after completing that?
