Fun fact: The fastest a car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h is exactly 3.6 sec. That is if the friction between the road and driving tires is exactly 1.0. That will never happen on common asphalt and available tires. Reality is that the most slick asphalt and the best tires will provide you a friction coefficient at about 0.9. That gives us a min. of 4 sec. 0-100. Anybody that claims otherwise is a drat loving liar or just plain stupid.

What?

Note, since you might not be in the know: the fenders, spoiler, and wheels are not stock. It is also missing the rear bumper and I don't think that it is sporting an OEM color.

Ah of course, I've looked at them before. Funnily enough the non-standard things are what I like about it.

There is ONE 240z on eBay in the UK :(

After travelling north for 3 hours I was greeted by a wonky sign and a tent. Bless.

And a Sirocco R.

After having a Mk5 GTi, then a GTD - this is a very nice treat. I just need to stop running cars past warranty before the 3 year plans are up so I can get something other than a VW (not that it's a bad thing).

Sorry for the instagram

That car is awesome, and so drat pretty in white.
I hope you got the manual instead of the DSG. As much as I like the fauxtomatic in regular cars, it kinda ruins performance versions. I tested a Golf R in DSG followed by Scirocco R in manual, and the latter just felt more fun.

It's DSG.

I had it on the MkV GTi and fell in love with it. I appreciate the difference and do love driving a manual, but the DSG transforms the car to this epically formidable.. machine? It's weird, there's a different feel to it that I like.

I spoke to bluefin today and have decide to take the plunge once I've worn it in.

Brings to 0-60 down to 4.5s
