drat Weezy, how do you get around without tearing the front lip off of the car? Regardless though, looks awesome. I used to run my Hondas low like that but never tucking the front. That look suits the car well IMO.

I fixed up a Toyota Yaris because I am stupid. At least it averages 36 mpg! I get constant poo poo about the Honda wheels. They've been on my last three cars (all Hondas) and I don't care.

Seat Safety Switch posted:Just pop out the centre caps and probably nobody could ever tell. The wheels look really weird without the center caps in. I might take them out and paint them in the future. I paid off the car recently and started throwing money at it since I don't have a car payment. It has i/h/e and Tein street basis strut/coilovers, a TRD rear swaybar, and a Tanabe front strut bar. The tires are Potenza RE01-Rs, it handles pretty well with them, very neutral in corners. It's slow as poo poo in a straight line though.

Zenostein posted:You aren't the guy who had one for autocrossing, are you? I am not. I would like to go autocross it sometime but I haven't had that chance. One thought on the centers was to sand the Honda badge off of the aluminum disc in the centercap and then make a Toyota stencil and spray on the Toyota logo. I am about [this] close to buying a set of gunmetal Rota R-spec wheels in for it in 16" so that would fix the situation. What do you guys think?

VanNuys posted:For whatever reasons i loving love Honda engine bays. S2000s, Civics, anything. A clean bay with that red valve cover along with a cool looking intake manifold and header is like porn to me. I'm not even a huge fan of Hondas, but i get a boner every time i see a clean B series. Quoted for the drat truth. I absolutely love looking in the engine bay of nearly any 4-cylinder Honda car. The older stuff is definitely my favorite; B-series and H-series vtec engine bays with a bit of work done to them can be straight porn. I even like the singles, while no where near as interesting, they still hold appeal to me for some reason. Every day I drive my current, non-Honda car is every day I miss owning a Honda with a strong vtec crossover. I would still own a 1992-1995 Honda Civic hatchback with a B or H series motor swapped in if could, problem is if you leave them parked outside for too long in any one place chances are the car is going to get stolen.

Got the car back from the auto-body shop to replace the front bumper after a friend backed into it. The shop ended up waxing the entire car. It didn't come out great in the photo but I think it's shinier than when I bought it new...

angryhampster posted:Man that looks like fun. I test drove a Yaris back in '08 when they first came out. I loved that little thing, and should have bought it. Nice, this is a 2008 as well. I bought it new for $12,300 when gas prices were getting crazy and it's been a fun and dead reliable ride since I bought it, 50k miles later. It's a really fun car to drive. Even with I/H/E/TB it's still pretty slow in a straight line, but it handles pretty well (I installed Tein Steet Basic coilovers and TRD rear swaybar) and has decent stock brakes. There are a lot of good roads here around Portland, OR so I get to take it out and enjoy it regularly. ADINSX posted:what wheels are those? Looks really good. I drive a yaris too 16x7 Rota D2, ET38. I picked them up in trade from a guy on craigslist for a bunch of car parts. I didn't know how they'd look on the car being gold but it turned out great. Thanks for the kind words. Yaris bros One more I took last night, playing around with my new camera:
