New hotness!

1.8 Vtec ES. It's so nice inside compared to my old Focus, I love it.

The weather in the UK is atrocious, so this is a quick snap right after I picked it up at the weekend.

I don't like the full length headlight thing, looks like a 90s concept car.

That's the thing, it actually looks like a mid-00s concept. Because Honda pretty much made it exactly like the concept car, which is rare. I love the look of it, it stands out among the mostly boring crap on the roads. Oddly though, we also get your dull-rear end civic sedan.

I could never get over the dashboard/instruments on the new Mini. It feels all over the place to me. The huge massive speedo dead centre in the dash is so weird.

That sure is some red leather you've got there though.

Took the spaceship to Scotland recently. Did Bristol - Fort William on a single tank, which was nice for the 1.8 petrol. (Just shy of 500 miles)

Driving down from Skye I got stuck behind a truck carrying fish waste, which was spewing rotting fish out the back onto the road. It got into the wheel wells and stank like crazy :barf:

And then the only Car Wash in town wasn't open. :suicide:

To be honest most cars from that era in the UK are pretty rare nowadays, especially in that condition. We have a lot of rain. poo poo rusts.

That was enough to write it off, apparently. Lots of expensive plastic parts and bent to poo poo metal behind the badge = over £3000 of repairs.

Still, something new and shiny is now on the cards.

Probably more comfy than my accommodation, too...

It really was, actually. There’s a couple of minor cosmetic things wrong with it but aside from that I can’t find anything majorly wrong with it. I guess I’ll find out soon enough if there’s something horribly wrong but it doesn’t seem so. Drives amazingly well right now.

It’s a rental. It has... an engine? And some doors. Also Good AC thankfully. And the steering wheel on the wrong side.

It’s alright to drive (not sure what motor it actually has, it’s petrol), reasonably comfortable although lots of wind noise from the tops of the windows. Also feels like there’s nowhere to put my right leg when I drive.
